Anne Curtis, real name Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith is a current actress, model, television host, and VJ in the Philippines. A Filipino and Australian descent, that was born on 17 February 1985 in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia.

She's the eldest among the four siblings namely her sister Jasmine, brother Thomas and their youngest, Clare, a 4 month old baby, who died because of a viral infection that severely affected her heart. All of her siblings are living with their Filipina mother, Carmen Ojales and their father, James Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer in Australia.

Anne was discovered by a talent manager while eating in a restaurant together with her parents during their 1997 vacation in the Philippines when she was 12. A vacation that later on became permanent after which her mother supported the idea of her pursuing a career in Philippine showbiz. Her father on the other hand was discouraging her to be in showbiz at first, since he really cared for Anne's studies. During a past interview with Anne, she said that her life would be boring if she stayed in Australia.

She first was seen on TV playing the role of Ginny in "Anna Karenina". She later appeared on different TV shows under GMA network such as "T.G.I.S (Thank God It's Sabado)", "Ikaw Na Sana", "Beh Bote Nga", "Idol Ko si Kap", "Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw", "Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw Pa Rin" and "Love to Love" where she was partnered with her then boyfriend Richard Gutierrez. She also hosted shows such as "Mornings @ GMA", "SOP" and "Nuts Entertainment" with GMA.

In 2004, she transferred to GMA's rival network ABS-CBN where she rose to prominence after playing the role Stephanie in "Hiram". She later starred on Pinoy TV Show Episodes such as "Kampanerang Kuba", "Maging Sino Ka Man", "May Minamahal", "Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik", "Dyosa", "The Wedding" and her current koreanovela remake primetime show "Green Rose". Knowing her for also being a successful VJ in MTV Philippines, she host numerous ABS-CBN TV shows such as "Pinoy Big BrotherBuzz", "ASAP", "The Buzz", "Qpids", "Star Circle Summer Kid Quest", "Magpasikat", "ASAP XV" and her current successful "Showtime" TV Hit show.

Her first movie break came when she played a princess in the fantasy movie "Magic Kingdom" when she was just 12 years old. She later appeared on movies such as "Honey, My Love... So Sweet", "Ika-13 Kapitul", "Juan & Ted: Wanted", "Mahal Kita: Final Answer!", "Lastikman", "Filipinas" and "Baler" exclusively under Viva Films alone. Her first movie under Star Cinema in 2006 is entitled "All About Love", also her first film with Luis Manzano which is now his bestfriend in showbiz.

She also appeared in movie projects under Partnership of both Viva Films and Star Cinema such as "Wag Kang Lilingon", "Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo", "When Love Begins" and "Babe, I Love You" where she teamed up with current boyfriend Sam Milby and it grossed 12 million revenue in its 1st day on April 3, 2010. She also participated in role of GMA Films movie "Panday" where after this film the lead character Sen. Bong Revilla who plays Panday said in an interview that he "Wants Curtis to be her next leading lady". She is now currently filming her new movie "In Your Eyes" under GMA and Viva Films.
